ILIT has unveiled their first Japanese original single, Almond Chocolate, spreading sweet vibes just in time for Valentine's Day. The track was released on February 14 via major music platforms.

Almond Chocolate is a cheerful confession song blending ILIT's fresh vocals with a lively sound, creating an uplifting and feel-good energy. The rich string ensemble and catchy chorus make the song instantly addictive, while the lyrics capture the fluttering emotions of confessing love to someone special.

The song was created by a powerhouse team, including Pdogg, known for producing hits for BTS, and Nakajin from the band Sekai no Owari.

A special film was also released, showing ILIT members preparing a confession. From writing letters to dyeing their fingernails with balsam flowers (a traditional symbol of love), their innocent and heartfelt efforts brought smiles to viewers. The video ends on a cliffhanger, raising curiosity about what happens next.

Almond Chocolate is the theme song for the Japanese film I Don't Like You Just for Your Looks. ILIT was chosen to sing the track even before their official Japanese debut.

The song is set to become a Valentine's Day anthem as ILIT's popularity in Japan continues to rise. It's already climbing multiple music charts.

ILIT's debut single Magnetic made waves in Japan last year, ranking 3rd on TikTok's Annual Top Songs of 2024, the only K-pop girl group to break into the top rankings.

They also secured top positions on Billboard Japan's Hot 100 and NTV's Annual Music Awards 2024 as the highest-ranking foreign artist.
