On February 27, Jennie hosted a special listening party at Hyundai Card Understage in Yongsan, Seoul, celebrating the upcoming release of her first solo studio album, Ruby.

The event allowed fans to hear all 15 tracks from the album for the first time, including the pre-released single 'ExtraL'.

Fans were in for a surprise as rapper Zico and actor Yeo Jin-goo made guest appearances, serving as MCs to help Jennie share insights about the album.

Explaining the meaning behind Ruby, Jennie revealed:

💎 "I wanted to be in control of my own stage, opening and closing the curtains myself. The image of a red theater curtain came to mind, and that led me to the name Ruby."

She also emphasized her personal journey, stating:
