SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo to Begin Military Service on April 3—Agency Requests Privacy

SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo is set to fulfill his mandatory military service, beginning alternative service next month.

PLEDIS Entertainment Confirms Enlistment Date

On March 5, PLEDIS Entertainment announced through Weverse that Wonwoo will begin his military service on April 3. Following Jeonghan's enlistment last September, Wonwoo is the second SEVENTEEN member to enlist.

There will be no official event on the day of his enlistment. The agency also requested fans to refrain from visiting his alternative service workplace, asking them to instead leave messages of support through Weverse.

Final Fan Meeting Before Enlistment

Wonwoo will attend SEVENTEEN's fan meeting 'SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND' as scheduled on March 20-21 at Incheon Munhak Stadium. Fans can also expect pre-recorded content to keep connected with him during his service.

Unavailable for April & Future Schedules

From April onwards, Wonwoo will not participate in any group activities, including:

  • 'Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025' festival
  • SEVENTEEN's Japan fan meeting

PLEDIS assured fans that Wonwoo is committed to fulfilling his duty and returning in good health, asking for continued love and support from CARATs during his service.

Upcoming SEVENTEEN Fan Meeting
