J-Hope of BTS is making his long-awaited return with a love song that captures pure emotion.
On March 7 at 2 PM (KST), J-Hope will release his digital single Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel), a pop-R&B track with dreamy synths, crisp guitar strums, and smooth vocal riffs that embody the feeling of falling in love like a sweet dream.

🏁 Q: How does it feel to be making your first post-military comeback?
J-Hope:It's been a while since I've released new music, and I'm really excited. I wanted to share my music with fans as soon as possible and enjoy this moment together. Of course, I feel a mix of nerves and anticipation, but I put a lot of thought into this project, so I hope you all love it.
🎶 Q: What was your first reaction to hearing Sweet Dreams?
J-Hope:The moment I heard it, I knew—"This song has to be mine." When I listen to great songs, I usually visualize different scenarios in my mind. But with this one, the picture was crystal clear from the start. I just hope my instincts were right! (laughs) I love this song, and I truly hope that love translates to everyone who listens to it.
🎼 Q: What was the creative process like?
J-Hope:This was my first time working in a songwriting camp, and I discovered that this method suits me really well. While I was in Los Angeles, I ended up making a ton of songs. Each one has a different vibe, and now I'm eager to share them all with my fans. Through this process, I got to explore different genres and see what truly fits me as an artist.
🎧 Q: What's something you want listeners to take away from this song?
J-Hope:I can't define pop music as a whole, but this song was born from my personal interpretation of what makes a great pop track. Music is an artist's way of communicating, but ultimately, it's the listener's experience that matters most. With this release, I focused not only on the final product but also on the entire creative journey. My time at the LA songwriting camp was part of that. Every aspect of this comeback, including the promotions and my approach to performing, is an opportunity to learn and grow. If fans can appreciate that, it would mean the world to me! (laughs)
🎤 Q: How did the collaboration with Miguel happen?
J-Hope:I was the one who reached out to him first. Even though we had no personal connection, he responded positively, and I was beyond grateful! (laughs) I've been a fan of Miguel's music since I was young, so collaborating with him was a dream come true. His deep, soulful voice and authenticity brought the song to life, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
🇫🇷 Q: Your Paris event earlier this year was a huge success. Any behind-the-scenes moments?
J-Hope:Since it was right before my solo concert, I put in extra effort. So many ARMYs showed up, and their energy gave me so much inspiration for my performances. Honestly, I was so moved when I realized I could hear ARMY's voices through my in-ear monitors. That moment reminded me just how powerful BTS and ARMY are. ARMY, you're the best! (laughs)

J-Hope:You've all waited so long! Finally, Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel) is here for you to enjoy anytime, anywhere. This song is filled with all my heart, and I couldn't wait to share it. To celebrate his comeback, J-Hope will host an offline fan event, Sweet Dreamland, on March 7 at 1 PM KST. A total of 613 fans will be invited in honor of BTS's debut date (June 13, 2013). For those unable to attend in person, the event will be exclusively livestreamed on Weverse.
