BTS's J-Hope has unveiled a visually stunning new music video, taking fans on a surreal journey through love and dreams.
On March 7, BigHit Music released the official MV for J-Hope's digital single Sweet Dreams on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel. The video, running approximately 3 minutes and 48 seconds, uses fantastical imagery to portray the exhilarating emotions of falling in love.
The concept? A house floating in the sky, expanding as emotions grow. The whimsical setting serves as a metaphor for the boundless nature of love.
A Visual Feast of Dreams and Reality
J-Hope shared his excitement about the production process, saying, "With so many visual effects involved, I was eager to see the final result. Every stage of the project felt like opening a mystery box."
The MV unfolds in a dreamy sequence:
- It begins with J-Hope waking up in bed—inside a floating house above the clouds. He roams through the surreal setting, singing about love, before descending back to reality.
- Playful, fantastical elements add to the magic. Workers wear uniforms with angelic wings, a long-awaited newspaper appears out of thin air, and a bathtub transforms into a car.
- The seamless transition between the dreamlike house and real-world streets enhances the song's theme—blurring the line between fantasy and reality.
Adding to the excitement, R&B singer Miguel, who features on Sweet Dreams, makes a special appearance in the MV, heightening anticipation for their collaboration.

A Love Serenade, J-Hope Style
Sweet Dreams is a heartfelt serenade—an ode to love, capturing the innocence and intensity of romantic emotions. The track blends dreamy synths, airy guitar riffs, and J-Hope's signature melodic flow, delivering an enchanting listening experience.
Meanwhile, J-Hope is set to perform the song live for the first time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 11, alongside Miguel.
