🔥 But this time, they're switching things up. For the first time since debut, they're singing about love. Their latest transformation embraces a retro, vintage, and even romantic vibe. Even their choreography has softened.

However, the group's core identity remains intact. They declare, "Even if I don't know the ending, I'll burn everything up without fear." It's a clever evolution of their signature color.

On March 14, LE SSERAFIM held their showcase for their 5th mini album HOT at Yes24 Hall in Seoul. The members introduced their album and shared behind-the-scenes stories.

🔥 "EASY, CRAZY, and Now, HOT"

HOT is the final installment in LE SSERAFIM's three-part series that started in 2023. After EASY and CRAZY, they now bring HOT—a mini album packed with five fiery tracks.

💬 Chaewon explained: "These days, people think being cool and detached is trendy. But we find it more powerful to throw yourself into love and burn everything for it."

💬 Yunjin added: "Each song in this album is about diving into love, burning for it, and proving it. No hesitation—just giving it your all, no matter the outcome."

💬 Eunchae reflected: "Our past albums EASY and CRAZY were about our emotions and experiences. HOT takes it one step further. EASY was about insecurity, CRAZY was about letting go, and now HOT is about going all-in—even without knowing the ending."

💬 Chaewon related personally: "I always make sure to try everything I want, even if I might regret it later. That message really resonated with me."

🔥 "It's HOT... but Also Cold?"

For the first time, LE SSERAFIM showcased their title track, HOT—and it was a fresh surprise.

Instead of their usual dark and intense concept, they opted for a bohemian vintage aesthetic. The music also had a surprising mix of rock and disco, making it their most radio-friendly title track yet.

💬 Chaewon teased: "Despite its title, HOT actually has a sentimental melody. It feels totally different from our previous title tracks."

💬 Yunjin described the unique contrast: "It's both calm and dynamic, cold and fiery. It's like a flame that flickers as if it's about to go out, but never does."

💬 Kazuha painted a vivid image: "When I first heard HOT, I imagined driving with the windows down, feeling the wind. It has that energetic yet wistful youthfulness."

But delivering the song wasn't easy. The melody is emotional, yet it shouldn't feel sluggish or overly bubbly.

💬 Kazuha admitted: "Finding that perfect balance was the hardest part."

🔥 "Soft, But Still Powerful"

Their performance style also evolved. LE SSERAFIM blended power with fluidity, expanding their dance spectrum.

💃 Chaewon and Eunchae highlighted the key choreography moves—such as the "jacket flick" and moonwalk.

💬 Eunchae confessed: "The moonwalk was tough! I practiced by gliding across the entire practice room."

💬 Chaewon added: "We focused on expressing the music's vibe, rather than sticking to a specific genre. Our gestures and expressions were fine-tuned for every moment."

They also customized the choreography to highlight each member's individuality.

💬 Sakura revealed a secret detail: "Eunchae and I perform the same move in different ways. While I stare straight ahead, she lowers her gaze—small details like that make a difference."

🔥 "This Love is HOT"

At its core, HOT is about burning passion—but it's not just about romantic love. It's about love for their team, music, and fans.

💬 Yunjin clarified: "This album isn't just about romantic love. It's about loving what you do, your hobbies, your imperfect self, and the people who support you."

💬 Sakura reflected on her mindset shift: "I used to think results mattered most. But since debuting with LE SSERAFIM, I've realized that the process is more important."
