[Dispatch = Reporter Lee Myung-joo] NCT's Mark is ready to share the story behind his highly anticipated first solo album.
On March 7 at 8 PM KST, Mark will host The Firstfruit Showcase at FB Theater in Seongsu Culture & Arts Yard, Seoul. Fans worldwide can tune in via YouTube and Weverse for a live broadcast.
This showcase is inspired by the theme of the city, aligning with the album's core concept—a journey through an airport terminal, searching for the next destination. Mark will premiere brand-new performances, including the title track "1999."
Before the official album drop, an exclusive listening session will take place at 4 PM KST at the same venue. Fans will get an early taste of the album and engage in discussions about the music. The listening session is also set to be held in Seoul and select Asian cities.
Titled "The Firstfruit," this album is deeply personal, drawing inspiration from Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and Seoul—cities that have played a significant role in Mark's life.
With a total of 13 tracks, the album features the title track "1999", along with the pre-release single "+82 Pressin", dropping on February 19 at 6 PM KST. Fans can expect a diverse lineup of songs showcasing Mark's unique musical style.
