On March 21, BTS's J-Hope officially drops his new single MONA LISA, just two weeks after his digital single Sweet Dreams.

Describing the track as a "gift-like" performance song, J-Hope shared, "It's full of witty, playful moments hidden throughout the track. If you listen carefully, you'll catch fun sound effects too."

He added, "When I first heard the demo, I loved it but thought it might be too hard to pull off. But after working on it in Los Angeles and tweaking it to fit my style, I'm super happy with how it turned out."

MONA LISA is a hip-hop R&B track featuring groovy rhythms, funky chords, and bouncy sounds. The lyrics humorously depict the feeling of falling hard for someone, drawing inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting Mona Lisa.

J-Hope explained, "It's a love anthem that compares each person's unique charm to a masterpiece."
