tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Divorce Insurance' is ready to steal hearts with a unique rom-com concept that hits home for adults navigating life's ups and downs.
At the press conference held on March 24, director Lee Won-seok and lead actors Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee teased a drama packed with romance, chemistry, healing, and laughter.

'Divorce Insurance' is a refreshing office rom-com set in an insurance company's product development team. The story follows a group of employees β with a combined six divorces β who create a new insurance product to cover the disaster that isβ¦ divorce.
Director Lee shared, "I wanted to portray people not trapped by the world, but those building their own world after failure. The message is simple β all happiness and decisions come from within."
It's also Director Lee's first K-drama, known for films like 'How to Use Guys with Secret Tips' and 'Killing Romance'. "I was nervous, but the script was too good to pass up," he added.
π Star-Studded Cast with Strong Chemistry
Lee Dong-wook plays Noh Gi-joon, an actuary who's perfect on the surface but has three divorces under his belt. Inspired by his own struggles, he develops the divorce insurance concept. "It's about how perspectives, not faults, end marriages," he explained.
Lee Joo-bin transforms into Kang Han-deul, an underwriter finding new courage after her first divorce. "She's patient and kind but also unexpectedly charming," Lee described.
Lee Kwang-soo takes on the role of Ahn Cheon-man, the brainy risk surveyor. "It's my smartest character ever β packed with difficult lines," he laughed. Cheon-man's journey shows how joining the team becomes a life-changing adventure.
Lee Da-hee shines as Jeon Na-rae, a math genius who only sees the world through investments until divorce insurance changes her view on life.
Director Lee praised, "Na-rae is iconic. Honestly, I couldn't imagine anyone but Da-hee playing this role."

The cast shared that witty ad-libs and unpredictable directing added extra fun. "There were moments we'd throw anything, and it just clicked. The ad-lib series with Kwang-soo might be legendary," Lee Dong-wook teased.
