Rising star Byeon Woo-seok is caught up in a fake agent scam — and his agency is setting the record straight.

On March 24, VARO Entertainment released an official statement:

"Recently, there have been cases where individuals falsely claimed to have exclusive agent rights for Byeon Woo-seok's overseas fan meetings, attempting to profit illegally."

The agency clarified, "We have not granted any individual exclusive rights regarding Byeon Woo-seok's fan meetings or events."

They added, "There are absolutely no agency contracts in place for these activities."
