NCT's Haechan has once again shown his heart of gold 💚
On March 26, the Community Chest of Korea (Love Fruit) announced that Haechan donated 50 million KRW (approx. $37,000 USD) to support victims of the recent wildfires in Korea's Yeongnam region.
🔥 "I Wanted to Help — Even Just a Little"
Haechan shared, "Hearing about the devastating wildfire damage, I wanted to lend a helping hand — even if just a little."
He added, "I sincerely hope the affected residents can return to their normal lives as soon as possible. I'm also cheering for everyone working hard to put out the fires."
🚨 Massive Wildfire Impact
The wildfires broke out on March 21 in Sancheong (Gyeongnam) and Uiseong (Gyeongbuk), resulting in:
- 18 deaths
- Over 27,000 evacuees
- Fires still ongoing as of now
🌍 A Heart That Always Gives Back
This isn't Haechan's first generous move:
- 2023: Donated 100 million KRW to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria
- 2023: Joined the 'Honor Society' for top donors
- 2023: Donated 50 million KRW to Hawaii wildfire relief efforts
