Singer Jeong Dong-won and his fan club 'Uju Total Mobilization' have come together for a heartfelt cause, donating a combined ₩130 million in cash and relief goods to support wildfire recovery efforts across Korea.
💖 Idol + Fans = Real Impact
On March 27, Jeong Dong-won contributed ₩100 million in cash and ₩30 million worth of relief supplies through the Korean Red Cross. The donation was designated for Hadong, his hometown, which was also affected by the fires.
Jeong, who also serves as a goodwill ambassador for the organization, shared, "I sincerely hope this can bring comfort to those affected. I extend my deepest condolences to the victims and their families."
He continued, "I also want to thank and support the firefighters who are working tirelessly, day and night. I pray that all the wildfires, including the ones in my hometown, are put out soon without further casualties."

🆘 Korean Red Cross Confirms the Impact
According to Korean Red Cross Chairman Kim Cheol-soo, "The ₩130 million donation from Jeong Dong-won and his fan club will go a long way in helping displaced families and rebuilding affected regions. We're deeply thankful for their generosity."
Since the wildfire began on March 21, the Korean Red Cross has been actively supporting affected areas, including Sancheong, Uiseong, and Uljoo. As of March 25, a total of 1,212 staff and volunteers were dispatched, providing:
- 1,268 emergency kits
- 4,865 blankets
- 349 emergency shelters
- Over 56,000 water bottles and essential supplies
- Meals for 24,800 people
- Psychological counseling for 795 survivors
- 13 relief vehicles including mobile kitchens, showers, and support vans

The Korean Red Cross continues its emergency fundraising campaign for wildfire relief until April 22. Donations can be made via the official website or Naver Happy Bean.
