To honor the second anniversary of the passing of Moonbin of ASTRO, his closest friends are coming together to release a heartfelt tribute song.

💌 "A letter to Moonbin" from friends across the K-pop world

On March 28, Fantagio announced, "Moonbin's friends will be releasing a new song in April. The track will be composed as a letter from his friends to him."

The project brings together a powerful lineup of artists who were close to Moonbin — including fellow ASTRO members, as well as MONSTA X's I.M, Kihyun, and Minhyuk, and SEVENTEEN's Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, DK, and Seungkwan.

Artists like Na Ung-jae, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon, SF9's Chani, Stray Kids' Bang Chan, Billlie's Moon Sua (Moonbin's sister), and VIVIZ will also participate.

Notably, Cha Eun-woo played a key role in organizing the tribute, personally reaching out to many of the artists involved.

Fantagio stated, "We hope this song becomes a gift and source of comfort to all the fans who continue to remember and love Moonbin."

The song is expected to be released sometime in April 2025, just ahead of Moonbin's second memorial.

Moonbin passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 25. A beloved member of ASTRO and a shining star in the K-pop world, his memory continues to live on through music, friendship, and love.
