Following Karina's generous donation, aespa's Winter has also stepped up to support wildfire victims — both members have donated ₩100 million KRW each to aid recovery efforts.
🌲 Winter's quiet strength: "I want to comfort those who lost their normal days"
On March 28, the Korean Red Cross announced, "Winter has donated ₩100 million to support recovery efforts in wildfire-affected areas."
Winter shared, "I wanted to send my deepest condolences to those who have lost their ordinary lives because of the fires."
Her donation will be used for emergency relief in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan — including emergency supplies, meals, disaster counseling, and equipment support.
🔥 Karina's donation focused on victims and firefighters
A day earlier, on March 27, Karina donated ₩100 million through the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association — dividing it equally between wildfire victims and firefighter support.
Karina stated, "There's never been a time when I've longed for normal, peaceful days more than now. I truly hope the wildfires end soon and everyone affected can return to their daily lives."
She also expressed heartfelt gratitude:
"I send my deepest condolences to those who've lost their lives in the fires, and I sincerely thank the firefighters working tirelessly around the clock."
Her donation will support emergency aid, temporary housing, supplies for evacuees, and will also contribute to mental health support and improved conditions for firefighters.
