EXO's Baekhyun has joined the growing movement of stars giving back, donating a generous ₩200 million KRW to support wildfire recovery efforts across Korea.

On March 29, the Korean Red Cross announced,
"Baekhyun donated ₩200 million to aid wildfire victims and frontline rescue workers in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan."
In a heartfelt message, Baekhyun shared,
"To everyone going through a difficult time — I send my deepest sympathy. I truly hope you'll be able to return to peace and normal life soon."
His donation will be used for recovery efforts, relief supplies, and essential support for displaced residents.
🚨 Massive Red Cross operation in action
The Red Cross has been carrying out emergency relief efforts since the wildfires began on March 21, dispatching personnel and aid to areas like Sancheong (Gyeongnam), Uiseong (Gyeongbuk), and Ulju (Ulsan).
As of March 27, their impact includes:
- 87,887 relief items distributed (emergency kits, blankets, shelters, bottled water, etc.)
- 2,052 volunteers and staff active on the ground
- Meals for over 58,000 evacuees and rescue workers
- Psychological counseling for 2,924 victims
- Mobile clinics and 13 support vehicles including food trucks, mobile showers, and recovery vehicles
Red Cross Chairman Kim Chul-soo stated,
"Baekhyun's donation brings hope and healing to many suffering from the fires. We're grateful for his warm-hearted support."
