(G)I-DLE is continuing their heartfelt donation drive, as Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua have each contributed ₩100 million KRW (approx. $75,000 USD) to support wildfire victims across Korea.
🧡 Helping those impacted by the flames
On March 31, the Korean Red Cross confirmed the donation, saying it will be used to assist residents and emergency personnel affected by the large-scale wildfires in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan.
In a statement, the three members shared:
"We were heartbroken to hear about the hardships caused by the sudden wildfires. We hope this small gesture can help with recovery."
They also sent a message of gratitude to the on-site support teams:
"To everyone working so hard in the field — thank you. We send our deepest respect and encouragement."
🌱 (G)I-DLE's growing chain of kindness
Earlier, Miyeon and Soyeon also donated ₩100 million each through Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, bringing the group's total contribution to a massive ₩500 million KRW.
This makes (G)I-DLE one of the top K-pop donors in response to this year's wildfire disaster.
