Jeon Yeo-been and Jinyoung are about to dive into a rollercoaster romance — one that's anything but ordinary.
On March 31, the production team behind Genie TV's original drama 'The Good Girl Boo Semi' (written by Hyun Gyuri, directed by Park Yoo-young) officially confirmed the cast lineup, which includes Jeon Yeo-been, Jinyoung, Seo Hyun-woo, Jang Yoon-ju, and Joo Hyun-young.
💍 A crime-filled contract marriage meets unexpected love
'The Good Girl Boo Semi' is a crime romance drama centered around a bodyguard from a poor background who enters into a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol heir. As powerful enemies circle in for the inheritance, she must protect both her identity and her life.
Jeon Yeo-been plays Kim Young-ran, a bodyguard for a conglomerate family who has lived a life of struggle. To escape her harsh reality, she assumes the identity of "Boo Semi," a completely different persona.
Opposite her is Jinyoung, taking on the role of Jeon Dong-min, a single dad who raises his son while farming strawberries in the countryside. Despite Boo Semi's perfect resume and charm, he's the only one who remains suspicious of her sudden appearance.
⚖️ Law, power, and secrets
Seo Hyun-woo plays Lee Don, a sharp-witted lawyer with a rags-to-riches background. As he uncovers the dirty truths behind bloodlines and social ties, he begins to reevaluate his life path.
Jang Yoon-ju joins the cast as Ga Sun-young, the chaebol's cunning stepdaughter, while Joo Hyun-young plays Baek Hye-ji, a housemaid living under the same roof as the chaebol family.
