EXO's Kai is making a creative return, and he's kicking things off with a special digital experience.

SM Entertainment launched the official website Behind Wait on April 1 — a dedicated hub for Kai's upcoming solo comeback content.

🎧 Comeback after 2 years — and military break

Kai is set to drop his new mini album Wait On Me, his first release since Rover and also his first after completing his military enlistment hiatus.

The Behind Wait site gives fans an intimate look at the journey behind the album. Fans can explore secret galleries, handwritten notes, and behind-the-scenes episodes straight from Kai.

The promotion schedule was also revealed. Music videos for B-side tracks like "Adult Swim" and "Walls Don't Talk" are on the way — promising a visually rich comeback rollout.

🖥️ Offline surprises too

There's also an offline teaser event planned. From April 3–8, at 1:14 PM KST daily, Kai's agency building (SMTOWN) will screen a special Wait On Me preview using LED media walls. The start time, 1:14, is a nod to Kai's birthday on January 14.

Fans will get a 4-minute exclusive look at three concept teaser images from the new album — before they're shown anywhere else in the world.

🗓️ Mark the date: April 21

Kai's mini album Wait On Me drops on April 21. The project includes seven tracks in total, led by the title track of the same name.
