On April 4, SM Entertainment announced via Red Velvet's official SNS:
"Our exclusive contracts with Yeri and Wendy have come to an end. The time we spent with them was truly meaningful, and we sincerely support their new beginnings."
But don't panic, ReVeluvs! SM confirmed that both Yeri and Wendy will continue group activities with Red Velvet. The agency added:
"Yeri and Wendy will remain Red Velvet members and will continue team activities with SM Entertainment. Please continue to show love for Red Velvet's dazzling journey ahead."
