The scene-stealing king is back — Jo Jin-woong stuns with a chilling performance in Netflix's 'Karma'.
🔥 A Loan Shark with Maximum Impact
Actor Jo Jin-woong made a surprise special appearance in the Netflix original series Karma (written and directed by Lee Il-hyung), released on April 4.
He played a ruthless loan shark who confronts and threatens Sache-nam (Lee Hee-jun). Despite his limited screen time, his presence left an unforgettable impression.
Director Lee Il-hyung explained the casting choice:
"He needed to set the tone early in the drama. I wanted someone who could leave a strong impact with just one scene — and Jo Jin-woong was the perfect fit."
📸 A Visual That Sends Chills
New still cuts show Jo in a slick all-black suit with his hair slicked back. His piercing stare and signature cold gestures amplified the character's menace — giving viewers actual chills.
He returned later in the series for a surprise reappearance, upping the suspense just when things seemed to settle. With impeccable timing, Jo dragged the main cast deeper into the chaos of Karma.
🎥 Behind the Scenes with the Cast
The production team also dropped some behind-the-scenes cuts featuring Jo Jin-woong and the lead cast including Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-a, Lee Hee-jun, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo, and Gong Seung-yeon.
While the drama is full of intense, tangled relationships, the BTS photos captured a completely different vibe — laughter and teamwork on set.
🌍 'Karma' Dominates Netflix Charts
