Sunny is back—but this time, she's behind the console. The Girls' Generation star was recently spotted mentoring K-pop trainees under Lee Soo-man's new label A2O Entertainment.
🎤 Sunny Spotted Producing for A2O Trainees
On April 7, A2O Entertainment uploaded a surprise training session video to its official YouTube channel. In the clip, Sunny appears in comfy clothes, sitting at the producer's console, personally directing vocals and offering warm encouragement to the trainees.
This marks Sunny's first on-camera activity in over two years. She parted ways with SM Entertainment in August 2023 and has since remained out of the spotlight.
🧩 Lee Soo-man x Sunny Reunited?
Last October, Sunny was spotted in Shanghai with Lee Soo-man and legendary composer Yoo Young-jin. This sparked speculation about a new girl group project brewing overseas.
Lee Soo-man founded A2O Entertainment in May 2023, based in Singapore with branches in the U.S., Japan, and China. After selling his SM shares to HYBE in February 2023, he agreed to not produce domestically for 3 years—but that didn't stop him from launching global projects.
🌍 A2O MAY: A Global Girl Group Debut
In December 2023, Lee introduced A2O MAY, a 5-member multinational girl group featuring 2 American and 3 Chinese members. With Sunny now involved in training, expectations are rising for what A2O's full debut lineup might bring.
Whether it's mentoring or producing, Sunny's return signals a new chapter in her career—this time, from the other side of the stage.
