Stray Kids earn another Japanese record certification—double platinum for their hit single 'Scars/Sorry, I Love You.'

💿 'Scars' Hits 500K—Another Record for the Books

Stray Kids continue to dominate the Japanese market. On April 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) officially certified their second Japanese single 'Scars/Sorry, I Love You' (released in 2021) as Double Platinum, which means over 500,000 physical copies shipped.

Here's how the RIAJ certifications break down:

  • Gold: 100,000+
  • Platinum: 250,000+
  • Double Platinum: 500,000+
  • Triple Platinum: 750,000+

This marks another huge milestone following their Japanese full album GIANT, which also went double platinum last December.

🏆 Chart Sweeper Since Day One

'Scars/Sorry, I Love You' has been a long-time fan favorite since its release in October 2021. At launch, it swept the Tower Records daily sales charts, landing at #1 through #4.

The track 'Scars' also:

  • Topped iTunes Top Songs in 32 regions
  • Hit #1 on iTunes K-pop Songs (U.S.)
  • Reached #1 on LINE Music Japan's Weekly Top 100

Talk about international impact!
