Park Bo-gum will represent Korean traditional fashion on the global stage as the first-ever male model for the 'Hanbok Wave' campaign.

On April 15, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that actor Park Bo-gum has been selected as the ambassador for the 2025 Hanbok Wave project. He's the first male model to lead this initiative, joining a lineup that previously included Suzy, Kim Tae-ri, and figure skating queen Kim Yuna.
Hanbok Wave is a K-fashion meets K-culture initiative, now in its sixth year. It pairs local Hanbok brands with Hallyu stars to develop fresh, modern designs and promote Hanbok as part of everyday fashion and pop culture.
✨ Diversity and Innovation in Focus
This year's Hanbok Wave puts emphasis on diversity and versatility in men's hanbok design. Inspired by Park Bo-gum's image, the project will invite four selected brands to create and promote stylish new looks.
📅 Applications are open until May 9 for small-to-medium Hanbok brands.
