Singer Baekhyun has officially launched legal proceedings in response to malicious online content.
On April 16, his agency One Hundred posted an official statement via SNS:
"We'd like to update you on the current legal actions concerning malicious posts and the spread of false information related to Baekhyun."
🕵️♂️ Evidence collected through monitoring and fan reports
The agency stated they gathered evidence through both internal monitoring and fan-submitted reports from social media, online communities, and Daum cafes.
"Based on the collected material, we have filed a criminal complaint with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul for defamation, spreading false information, sexual harassment, and insult," the statement read.
🚫 Zero tolerance policy: no settlements, no forgiveness
One Hundred emphasized their commitment to continued action:
"We will persist with monitoring, thoroughly reviewing reports, and collecting & preserving evidence to enforce strong legal measures."
The company added a firm warning: "There will be no leniency or settlements regarding these malicious acts. We are doing everything we can to protect the rights of our artist and team."
