Doosan Bears announced on April 16 that SF9's Chani will throw the opening pitch at the team's regular season game against the Kia Tigers on April 18 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. Wearing a Doosan jersey, Chani will take the mound to wish his favorite team a win.

Chani shared, "I've been a longtime fan of Doosan, so it's a huge honor to be the first pitcher. I'll keep cheering hard—let's go, Doosan!" Known for his cheerful energy and positive mindset, he's expected to bring major good vibes to the stadium.

🎶 From center stage to pitcher's mound

Chani is active across music, drama, and film. Last month, he made a comeback with SF9's new album LOVE RACE, showcasing his polished idol performance skills.

🎬 Acting game still strong

He's also been taking on major roles as an actor, starring in TVING's original romance series Spring Green Love Story and the upcoming horror film The Haunted (dir. Hwang Seung-jae).
