SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan Honors Late Friend Moonbin with Touching Dandelion Story 🌼💔

In a recent episode on Uhm Jung-hwa's YouTube channel, titled "35 Minutes with Seungkwan – The Sweet Idol of Loyalty", SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan opened up about the personal meaning behind dandelions, quietly paying tribute to his late friend, ASTRO's Moonbin.

When Uhm Jung-hwa asked why he liked dandelions, Seungkwan shared,
"A precious friend of mine once posted a photo and message about dandelion seeds. That message really touched me."

He went on to explain that it inspired him to write a song titled "Dandelion", and since then, the flower has become his personal symbol.

Uhm Jung-hwa responded, "Dandelions drift in the wind and bloom wherever they land. I think your friend would love that."

Seungkwan replied tenderly, "I'd never really noticed dandelion seeds before. But after reading that post and writing the song, I started seeing them everywhere."

Moonbin's last social media post before his passing in 2023 read:
"Dandelion seeds, may you ride the wind and spread far and wide."

The words have stayed with Seungkwan ever since.

With the 2nd anniversary of Moonbin's passing approaching on April 19, a memorial song featuring Seungkwan and other artists is set to be released in tribute.
