Veteran actors Yum Jung-ah and Park Hae-joon are teaming up for a tender, late-blooming romance in tvN's upcoming drama For My First Love (첫, 사랑을 위하여).
On April 21, tvN unveiled the main cast lineup, which includes Yum Jung-ah, Park Hae-joon, rising star Choi Yoon-ji, and Kim Min-kyu.
💌 Plot: A Second-Chance Love Story
For My First Love tells the interwoven story of a bold single mom and her med student daughter—each confronting past wounds while discovering unexpected love in the present.
🎭 Yum Jung-ah plays Lee Ji-an, a tough, no-nonsense single mother who manages construction sites. Her seemingly rock-solid life begins to unravel after a clash with her daughter's rebellious choices—and the unexpected return of her first love.
"I'm thrilled to work with such a wonderful team. I look forward to fully living Ji-an's journey," Yum shared.
🏗️ Park Hae-joon takes on the role of Ryu Jung-seok, a gruff, emotionally guarded architect and Ji-an's first love. As a single father, his quiet life is shaken when Ji-an and her daughter reappear, reigniting feelings long buried.
"It's a heartwarming story about people making space in each other's lives," Park said. "I'm especially excited to work alongside Yum Jung-ah."
