BTS's Jin is officially stepping into the spotlight as a band frontman—at least in spirit.

On April 22 at midnight (KST), BigHit Music unveiled the first set of concept photos for Jin's upcoming 2nd mini album, 'Echo', through BTS's official social media channels. The photos hint at a youthful, fresh vibe and a band-inspired sound.

💿 Rocking the Studio Look

Jin appears in what looks like a retro band practice room—complete with worn-down walls, vintage posters, and classic instruments scattered around. The space gives off the energy of a musician on the cusp of creative breakthrough.

Another photo shows Jin sitting in a classic car, earphones in, fully immersed in music. Around him are stacks of CDs and vinyl records, symbolizing his deep and timeless love for music.

🎸 Frontman Energy

This concept revolves around "The Frontman"—Jin reinterprets the rock band leader persona through his own lens. From now through April 24, more versions of concept photos will be revealed, each offering a different side of his rocker-inspired identity.

🎶 About the Album: 'Echo'

Jin's second solo mini album will center around band-based soundscapes, with the title track and six additional songs forming the collection. The theme reflects how various moments in life resonate like echoes—each with their own frequency and emotion.

Jin's 'Echo' will officially drop on May 16.
