Park Jung-min Donates Audiobook to 40 Libraries for the Visually Impaired

Actor Park Jung-min has taken a meaningful step to support the visually impaired through literature.

The Korea Foundation for Persons with Disabilities announced on April 23, "In celebration of World Book Day, Park Jung-min donated the audiobook version of First Summer, Wanju—a listening novel produced by his publishing house Muje."

📚 About the Book
First Summer, Wanju is a new novella by author Kim Geum-hee, following a character named Yeolmae as she visits her close friend's hometown of Wanju and undergoes personal transformation.

🎧 Audiobook Comes First

The project flipped the traditional publishing process by releasing the audiobook before the print edition, marking the first installment of Muje's "Listening Novel" initiative.

🏛️ Wider Accessibility

The audiobook will be distributed to over 40 libraries for the disabled across Korea. Actors Go Min-si, Kim Do-hoon, and Yum Jung-ah participated as narrators, lending their voices to enrich the storytelling.

💬 Park Jung-min's Vision

Park shared, "Through Muje, we aim to continue improving book accessibility for the visually impaired by expanding the 'Listening Novel' project."

Founded by Park Jung-min in 2019, Muje is a publishing company focused on creating inclusive and thoughtful literary experiences.
