Starship Entertainment's highly anticipated rookie boy group project is kicking into high gear.
The global survival program 'Debut's Plan' will air its semifinal live broadcast on April 25 at 8 PM KST.
Tonight, the New Kids advancing to the final debut evaluation will be revealed — along with the first eliminations.
🎤 Live Episode 8 — Fans and Board Members Choose the Future Stars
The new episode, EP.8, will stream live on YouTube.
During the pre-debut evaluation, the Debut's Plan Board and over 1,000 fans will vote to select the New Kids moving forward.
One additional member will be selected via a Super Pass, adding another twist to the competition.
🎶 Three Unit Tracks, One Mission: Survive and Debut!
Ahead of the live broadcast, a semifinals teaser video was released.
The New Kids have formed three teams and will perform the following songs:
- 'Step Up' (너를 향한 내 설렘 스텝 업)
- 'Sticky Bomb'
- 'Password Only We Know' (둘만 아는 패스워드)
The contestants poured their hearts into last-minute practices, vowing,
"No matter what it takes, we'll make it to the final debut stage!"
👀 Expert Evaluations by Industry Pros and Starship Seniors
The New Kids also faced a tense midterm evaluation.
Their performances were judged by the Debut's Plan Board, professional trainers, and members of WJSN, CRAVITY, and IVE.
A project insider teased,
"Expect detailed critiques, heartfelt self-reflections, and intense tension throughout."
The feedback will no doubt push the trainees to deliver the best performances yet.
🎧 Recording Under Pressure — Preparing for the Semifinal Live Stage
In preparation for the semifinals, the New Kids recorded their live performance tracks.
Some members struggled under the pressure, leading to emotional moments during the recording process — raising anticipation for the broadcast.
Meanwhile, the third-round voting officially closed on April 24 at 10 AM KST.
The final results of the 3rd voting round will be unveiled live during tonight's show.
