BigBang's Daesung is set to lead the Japanese version of the hit show Active King (현역가왕).
On April 25, production company Crea Studio officially announced,
"Daesung has been confirmed as the MC for 'Active King Japan.' He'll bring his 17 years of cross-cultural experience to the show."

Daesung has been a bridge between Korea and Japan for over 17 years.
He has dominated the charts both as a BigBang member and as a solo artist.
Most recently, he completed a successful 10-city live tour across Japan, solidifying his solo stardom.
Notably, Daesung also contributed to the success of the Active King series:
- Served as a master on Active King 1 and Active King 2
- Showcased smooth MC skills in Korea-Japan Top 10 Show
He shared, "I'm thrilled to be the MC for a show where Japan's top male vocalists will compete. I'll do my best to create a warm and uplifting atmosphere."

Active King Japan is a male vocalist competition featuring top-tier J-pop singers.
The show will air on BS Nippon Television with its first recording set for May 27.
