🎤 J-Hope Gets Personal on Apple Music

J-Hope of BTS sat down with creative director Zane Lowe for an exclusive interview on Apple Music's The Zane Lowe Show, aired on April 30 (KST). He opened up about the inspiration and creative process behind his recent solo singles.

🎶 A 3-Part Story — 'Sweet Dreams' to 'Mona Lisa'

J-Hope has so far released two singles — Sweet Dreams (March 7) and MONA LISA (March 21) — as part of a special solo project. One more track is still under wraps.

"I wanted to present myself in the best way possible to those waiting for my music," he said. "That naturally led to the idea of a three-single project."

He revealed that the release order reflects an emotional progression. "There's a flow of feelings in the songs," he explained. "My favorite track is actually the final one. I hope fans look forward to it."

🤝 Collaborating with Music Legends

J-Hope also shared behind-the-scenes stories of working with globally acclaimed artists like Cashmere Cat, Blake Slatkin, and Pharrell Williams.

"I thought a lot about what kind of music I wanted to show fans," he said. "I imagined something accessible yet stylish — something easy to listen to but still uniquely me."

Working with Pharrell, in particular, was a dream come true. "He's always been my idol," he confessed. "Collaborating with him was incredibly meaningful."

📀 What's Next?

The three singles explore different emotions and themes. J-Hope teased that he's far from finished. "There are still stories I want to share," he said, hinting at more music to come.
