This is beyond scary. Elkie literally had a near-death experience — and we're not okay 😰💔
She woke up with a splitting headache and dizziness, then suddenly blacked out while trying to take medicine. Next thing she knew? She was in an ambulance. The diagnosis: carbon monoxide poisoning. And the wild part? No smell. No smoke. No sound. Just silent danger. 😵💫☠️
Turns out, her COHb level was 20% — over 10 times the normal range. Like, that's serious. Thankfully, after getting hospital treatment and oxygen therapy, she's stable now 🙏
Elkie admitted she'd been ignoring constant fatigue and headaches, just pushing through like so many of us do. But this time, it nearly cost her everything.
Now she's using her voice to spread awareness — from symptoms to prevention tips:
✔️ Ventilation matters
✔️ CO detectors can literally save lives
✔️ Don't ignore the signs, ever
She said it best: "This was terrifying. I was lucky. Please don't wait like I did."
Major love to Elkie for turning a terrifying moment into a life-saving message 🖤🌫️
