Straight from the coffin: Lee Jung-jae emerges, Jo Yu-ri teases a baby bump—what's waiting in the Squid Game 3 finale?

Netflix just dropped the teaser poster and trailer for Squid Game Season 3, and let's just say… the stakes are literally death, trauma, and maybe a newborn?

The poster? It's pure nightmare fuel in aesthetic form. Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) is standing among a row of pink-ribboned coffins, staring off into the void like he just lost everything. Which, let's be real—he kinda did. His failed rebellion, his fallen bestie Jung-bae (RIP king 😔), and the crushing weight of capitalism all packed into one haunting stare? We feel it.

Then there's the caption: "The final game for 45.6 billion won." Like. What?? Final?? So this is how it ends? The coffins aren't just decoration—every one of them whispers, not everyone's making it out alive this time.

The teaser trailer? Oh it's chaotic-good from the jump. Pink guards casually carrying in a coffin like it's a room service delivery. And then—boom—Gi-hun wakes up inside it. Man went from dead to deadly. We're so back.

It only gets wilder. The players are now drawing colored balls at random, facing off in maze-like arenas, and side-eyeing each other like it's Among Us: Deathmatch Mode. Meanwhile, the mysterious VIPs are prepping for a fancy dinner, sipping wine while people are literally dying downstairs. The audacity of the elite, once again, is unmatched.

And let's talk returning characters. Jun-ho (Wi Ha-jun) is back and apparently scuba diving his way back to the island like it's Mission: Impossible. Pink guard No-eul (Park Gyu-young) is wandering solo like she's about to blow up the system from the inside. Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) is still giving top-tier evil energy in that matte black mask. Everyone's on edge, and honestly? So are we.

Now here comes the real curveball—Jo Yu-ri's character Jun-hee is pregnant. Like, visibly. In the trailer, the sound of a baby crying echoes in the final scene and it's giving The Handmaid's Tale meets Battle Royale. She's playing to survive for two. We were not ready.

The still cuts released with the trailer show the whole cast going through it. Gi-hun screaming while being dragged by guards, new faces like Myung-ki (Im Si-wan), Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul), and Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim) looking one argument away from breaking down, and a secretive room with keyholes and dagger-shaped doors? Oh yeah, this game's about to get spiritual, psychological, and absolutely brutal.

June 27. Netflix. You've been warned.
