Actor Na In-woo is making his official acting debut in Japan — starring as the lead in a new romance-healing series titled Hatsukoi DOGs, set to premiere this July on TBS.

On May 7, Studio Dragon announced, "Hatsukoi DOGs," a co-production with Japan's TBS, will begin airing in July, with Na In-woo confirmed in the lead role."
Based on the webtoon by Kaneko Arisa, the drama follows the healing journey of three characters — a Korean chaebol heir, a Japanese veterinarian, and a divorce lawyer — who come together around a mysterious dog.
Na In-woo plays Woo Seo-ha, a charming yet enigmatic third-generation Korean chaebol who travels to Japan. While he appears innocent on the outside, he hides unexpected abilities and secrets.
💫 All-star Japanese cast joins Na In-woo
Opposite Na In-woo is Kaya Kiyohara, playing Aiko Hanamura, a tough-minded divorce lawyer who secretly longs for true love. Also joining the cast is Ryo Narita, known for the film "Stolen Identity," as the reserved yet kind-hearted vet Kai Shirosaki.
Despite his warm demeanor, Shirosaki keeps people at a distance — adding to the quiet tension of the trio's emotional journey.
🎬 Korean x Japanese production team behind the scenes
Hatsukoi DOGs brings together talents from both Korea and Japan. The series is produced by Masako Miyazaki, Saya Araki, and Cha Hyun-ji.
The drama is slated to run for 10 episodes, airing every Tuesday on TBS starting July.
