Seo Min-jae (32, legal name Seo Eun-woo), known from Heart Signal 3, has publicly addressed her current situation and called on her ex-boyfriend, referred to as "Mr. A," to step up as the father of her child.

According to her legal representative from ON Law Firm on May 7, Seo is currently 9 weeks pregnant and expecting to give birth later this year.

"What Seo Min-jae is asking for is simple," the statement read. "She wants Mr. A to show responsibility as the father."

They emphasized her desire for an open, honest conversation—for the sake of the unborn child. The lawyer revealed that the couple began dating in October 2024 with marriage in mind, but things changed abruptly after she became pregnant.

"Mr. A's attitude shifted dramatically," they said. "He stopped responding to messages. Seo is emotionally devastated and is clinging to each day by focusing solely on the baby."

⚖️ Legal Back-and-Forth Begins

The situation escalated recently when Mr. A filed a police report against Seo, allegedly for defamation. Seo's legal team expressed deep concern:

"Filing criminal charges against a woman in early pregnancy is unconscionable. It shows a complete lack of moral responsibility."

They also denied Mr. A's accusation that Seo confined him:

"Considering Mr. A is physically larger and stronger, the claim that Seo held him against his will is illogical."

They added that the incident occurred when Seo was experiencing abdominal pain and had to rush to an OB-GYN clinic. "She left the house alone to seek medical help," they said.

Despite everything, Seo is still seeking dialogue. Her side claims Mr. A has avoided all communication after vaguely stating, "I'll take responsibility after the child is born."

Seo first revealed her pregnancy via social media on May 2, posting an ultrasound image. In doing so, she also exposed personal information about Mr. A, including his name and age.

In response, Mr. A's legal team (Loel Law Firm) stated on May 4:

"He never denied the pregnancy. On the contrary, he was the one who was allegedly confined and assaulted by Seo Min-jae."

Seo Min-jae rose to fame in 2020 through Heart Signal 3, gaining attention as the first female auto mechanic employed at a major corporation. She later transitioned into an influencer career.

However, she also faced controversy. In 2023, Seo and WINNER's Nam Tae-hyun publicly admitted to drug use. In January 2024, she received a 10-month suspended prison sentence with 2 years' probation for methamphetamine use.
