Actors Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si are pairing up for a unique kitchen romance about two people from opposite worlds who gradually find healing and love through food and connection—not instant chemistry.

🍲 Slow-Burn Romance, Rich with Heart
Tastefully Yours (written by Jung Soo-yoon, directed by Park Dan-hee) held its press conference on May 8. The drama follows the emotional growth of a corporate heir and a small-town fine dining chef who learn to understand each other despite their differences in values, background, and cooking philosophies.

📺 The drama premieres May 12 at 10 PM KST on ENA and will also be available via Genie TV.

🍽️ Kitchen Meets Capital: A Story of Opposites

• Kang Ha-neul plays Han Beom-woo, an executive at a major food conglomerate and head of a one-star fine dining restaurant. In pursuit of a three-star rating, he coldly acquires small restaurants, including that of the heroine.

"I've never lived as a chaebol, so it was hard," Kang joked. "Playing someone who looks down on others was challenging—I studied tone and delivery to make it convincing."

• Go Min-si stars as Mo Yeon-joo, a chef running her own fine dining spot Jeongje in Jeonju. She's committed to using only the best ingredients bought that day, but her uncompromising approach leaves her restaurant struggling.

"I picked this drama thinking it would be easygoing," she said, laughing. "Turns out, it's been the most demanding role yet."

She trained in both cooking and regional dialect, even leveraging her time on Seo Jin's Kitchen 2 to strengthen her culinary confidence.

💕 From Collision to Connection

Beom-woo tries to "hunt recipes" with corporate strategy and numbers. But he keeps losing to Yeon-joo's sincerity. Their early friction turns into mutual respect, and slowly, into something deeper.

"He made the set feel warm," Go Min-si said of her co-star. "It felt like we were on a date every day. He's Korea's Jim Carrey!"

Supporting characters Kim Shin-rok and Yoo Soo-bin bring additional flavor, which Go Min-si playfully described:

"Beom-woo is salty, Yeon-joo is spicy, Myung-sook is tangy, and Chun-seung is sweet."

🏡 The Restaurant That Becomes a Character

The show's setting, Yeon-joo's restaurant Jeongje, is a character in itself—complete with earthenware pots, an old stone stove, and even a backyard garden.

"This is where all the characters meet, change, and grow," said director Park. "I hope viewers savor not just the food, but the transformations that happen in this space."
