Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo has officially applied for enlistment in the Republic of Korea Army's military band, potentially beginning his service as early as July 2025.

According to his agency Fantagio, Cha Eun-woo recently completed an interview for the military band unit, applying under the Specialized Technical Personnel recruitment that the Army opened in March.

"Cha Eun-woo did go through the interview process," the agency confirmed on May 9.

"However, we cannot comment further until the results are released."
