On May 12, EDAM Entertainment confirmed to Dispatch, "IU is preparing a new album with the goal of releasing it in May." Although the album format and track details are still under wraps, excitement is already building.

IU recently wrapped filming the music video for her new song at a location in Seoul. Cha Eun-woo made a cameo appearance in the MV, reportedly at IU's personal request.

🎵 First Comeback Since 'The Winning'

IU's last official release was her sixth mini-album The Winning in February 2024. In March, she also dropped Night Stroll, an OST for the Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines.
