On May 13, TVING officially announced the production of Yumi's Cells Season 3 (written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, directed by Lee Sang-yeob), with Kim Go-eun confirmed to reprise her role as the lovable Yumi.
The new season will continue the story based on the popular webtoon and marks the return of the franchise after nearly three years.

Director Lee Sang-yeob and writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, who led Seasons 1 and 2, are back on board. Their chemistry with Kim Go-eun has already proven to be a winning combination with audiences.
