Hyungwon of MONSTA X has officially returned—and just in time for the group's 10th anniversary.
🎖️ Discharged After 18 Months of Service
On May 13, Starship Entertainment announced, "Hyungwon has completed his mandatory military service and was discharged today after 1 year and 6 months."
Hyungwon enlisted in November 2023 and served in the Republic of Korea Army. With his discharge, MONSTA X is now ready to promote again as a full group.
💌 Message to MONBEBE
Hyungwon shared a heartfelt message:
"MONBEBE, I'm back! I missed you all so much. The letters you sent during my service gave me a lot of strength."
He added,
"Tomorrow marks our 10th debut anniversary. I'm so happy to celebrate it with my members. I'll work hard to create even more memories together."
📅 Busy Schedule Ahead
To celebrate his return, Hyungwon will host a special YouTube livestream on MONSTA X's official channel at 6 PM KST today. He's also planning a free fan event, "Hyungwon's Greenhouse", on May 17.
🎶 Meanwhile, MONSTA X is dropping a digital single 'NOW PROJECT Vol.1' on May 14—kicking off their full-group activities in style.
