On May 15, Haerin shared a heartfelt message on the group's fan-run Instagram account @mhdhh_friends, expressing her deep gratitude to fans who celebrated her birthday with handwritten letters and thoughtful gestures.

Haerin was clearly overwhelmed—in the best way:

"Bunnies, hi. Those letters? Absolutely insane," she wrote. "I was seriously shocked. What even are you guys?!"

She added, "Sometimes I don't know how to put vague feelings into words... and this is one of those moments. I'm just really, really thankful."

🧸 Support Amid a Difficult Chapter

She acknowledged the effort it takes to write a letter:

"Writing something heartfelt takes real energy—thank you for making the time," she said. "And thank you even more for quietly supporting us through this tough time."

The "tough time" seems to allude to the ongoing legal conflict between NewJeans and their agency ADOR. Since last November, the members have attempted to terminate their exclusive contracts, citing ADOR's alleged breach. Although the court granted a provisional injunction in favor of the agency, group activities have since been paused.
