Following the buzz of its band audition project, HYBE Latin America is back—this time with a massive new reality series to discover Mexico's next breakout boy group.
🎬 New Idol Survival Show Begins in Mexico City
On May 15, HYBE Latin America announced its second large-scale project: a reality series focused on forming a brand-new Latin boy group. Filming is already underway at a custom training camp in Mexico City.
Out of 300 auditioned applicants, only 16 trainees made it into the camp. Over the course of 6 months, they'll be mentored by more than 30 professionals, specializing in vocals, dance, and performance.
🌟 A-LIST Mentor Lineup: From Hollywood to Super Bowl
- Executive Producer Kenny Ortega: Best known for High School Musical, Descendants, and choreography for the Super Bowl, Academy Awards, and Olympic ceremonies. He also directed Michael Jackson's posthumous documentary This Is It.
- Lead Choreographer Charm La'Donna: A powerhouse talent behind performances for Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Bruno Mars, and more.
- Vocal Coach Robert Stevenson: A world-renowned vocal trainer who has worked with Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and SZA.

The series will be distributed across TV, streaming platforms, and social media—making it accessible to a global audience. The first teaser video dropped on May 14 via HYBE Labels' YouTube channel, showing high-stakes auditions and emotional trainee moments.
🌎 K-pop Meets Latin Soul
This project aims to combine HYBE's K-pop training system with Latin America's unique artistic flair. The final group is expected to represent a fresh cultural fusion of rhythm, passion, and global appeal.
