💘 JTBC's New Drama 'Single's Inferno Love Match' Confirms Cast
On May 15, JTBC announced the lead cast lineup for its upcoming drama The Efficient Meeting of Singles (literal title), starring Han Ji-min, Park Sung-hoon, Lee Ki-taek, Jung Hye-sung, and Kim So-hye. The show is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name.
🌹 Romance Through Blind Dates—and Mixed Signals
The story follows Lee Eui-young (Han Ji-min), a rising star on the hotel's purchasing team, who is a total boss at work but can't seem to find her footing in love. She turns to blind dates to finally meet "the one."
Park Sung-hoon plays Song Tae-seop, the calm and grounded owner of a woodcraft studio—who ends up becoming Eui-young's blind date partner. Though emotionally reserved at first, he finds himself swept up in unexpected feelings.
Lee Ki-taek takes on the role of Shin Ji-soo, the exact opposite of Tae-seop. He's a fun-loving, younger guy who unexpectedly hits it off with Eui-young and starts to change as love unfolds.
👭 Strong Female Bonds + Fresh Chemistry
Jung Hye-sung plays Jeong Hyun-min, Eui-young's cheerful co-worker and trusted work bestie. Kim So-hye plays rookie team member Shim Sae-byeok, showing off a new side in a transformation role.
🎥 A Realistic, Refreshing Take on Modern Romance
According to the production team, "The drama follows Eui-young as she meets a variety of blind date partners in her pursuit of love. Expect a feel-good, endorphin-filled look at the ups and downs of dating in the modern world."
📺 Broadcast Schedule
The Efficient Meeting of Singles is scheduled to premiere in early 2026 on JTBC.
