🥇 Officially Appointed as Korean Sport & Olympic Committee Ambassador
On May 16, the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) held an appointment ceremony at Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, officially naming Sunghoon as their latest honorary ambassador.
As a former national figure skating reserve athlete, Sunghoon received a plaque in recognition of his new role. He will help promote the importance of everyday sports, youth athleticism, and raise interest in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.
💬 Sunghoon: "Sports Was the Turning Point of My Life"
"It's a huge honor to serve as an ambassador for the KSOC," Sunghoon said. Reflecting on his figure skating days, he called it the turning point of his life, sharing:
"The focus and drive I learned as a national reserve athlete became the foundation of who I am today."

Sunghoon also shared his thoughts on the intersection of K-pop and sports:
"Though they're different fields, K-pop and sports share core values—passion, discipline, and perseverance. I'll do my best to spread the beauty of sports to more people."
