Helping young adults stand on their own feet with love and support

[Dispatch = Lee Myung-joo] Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon have once again stepped up to make a difference—this time, donating ₩200 million to help care leavers (young adults preparing for independence after leaving institutional care).

💸 ₩200M to support independence

According to the Beautiful Foundation, the couple donated ₩200 million on May 19. They specifically requested that the funds be used to support self-reliance for care leavers, including:

• Living & educational expenses
• Career exploration support

They shared,

"We hope this can offer even a small amount of strength to those starting out on their own. We hope each young person can find their own path and dream of a bright future."

🌱 A legacy of giving

This is far from the couple's first act of generosity. Lee Hyori has been involved with the Beautiful Foundation since 2011, donating generously to support:

• Elderly living alone
• Single mothers
• Underprivileged communities

Lee Sang-soon has been equally active. He recently donated 2 tons of pet food to an animal shelter and gave ₩20 million in March to help recover from wildfires in North Gyeongsang Province.
