NasanHyun of NasanHyun Band Admits to Sexual Misconduct—Dropped from Incheon Pentaport Festival

NasanHyun, frontman of the indie rock group NasanHyun Band, has publicly admitted to allegations of sexual misconduct. The fallout has begun, with the 2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival officially canceling the band's scheduled performance.

🚫 Festival Appearance Canceled After Admission

On May 23, organizers of Pentaport Rock Festival released a statement:

"Due to unavoidable circumstances, NasanHyun Band's appearance has been canceled. We ask for the audience's understanding."

This decision follows a viral post from an anonymous victim who accused NasanHyun of groping her thigh while pretending to be drunk. The accuser wrote, "He acted like he was drunk and sat beside me, touching my thigh," adding that he reacted with, "Oops, my mistake," but showed no remorse. The incident allegedly occurred in a private setting, and the victim noted there was no hard evidence.

📝 NasanHyun Issues Apology via Social Media

NasanHyun responded on Twitter:

"I deeply regret the hurt I caused under the influence of alcohol years ago. I apologize for not addressing it sooner. Though it's late, I want to sincerely apologize now."

He acknowledged that the incident occurred 3–4 years ago and added, "Since then, I've made efforts to reflect and improve my behavior with the help of people around me. I will ensure this never happens again."

Pentaport was the first to take action, but the ripple effect may spread. NasanHyun Band is currently listed for multiple major events, including:
