🛹 From School Rebellion to Sound Experimentation
Kickflip returned on May 26 with their 2nd mini album Kick Out, Flip Now!, showcasing a rebellious teen concept. Skater vibes, playful chaos, and youthful defiance all came together through vibrant visuals and bold music.
Sporting school uniforms and rolling through classrooms, the group brought a nostalgic yet liberating spin to their identity. Every track reflects the group's drive to break the mold while keeping things refreshingly cool.

🎧 Album Highlights: Youth, Freedom & Summer Energy
The title track "FREEZE" is a hybrid pop dance song laced with 90s-inspired hyperpop synths and punchy beats. Youngest member Donghyeon composed it, while Gyehun, Donghwa, and Minje contributed lyrics.
Another track, "Let's Skip", captures that 'teen-on-the-edge' feeling: "Let's just skip it today—there's no answer anyway." The group also performed songs like:
- "Someday the Sun Will Explode"
- "Electricity"
- "Complicated!!" (written and composed by Amaru)
- "Code Red"
- "How We Kickflip"
🎶 Every member took part in songwriting and composing, adding to the authenticity and emotional depth. "Complicated!!" was penned entirely by Amaru, who revealed he had written over 100 tracks during pre-debut.
🌿 A Mint-Colored Identity
"Mint isn't just a color. It's a feeling," said Donghyeon, describing Kickflip's evolved form of summer freshness. Gyehun added, "Our charm lies in our playful unpredictability and energy."

Kickflip is also preparing for major summer festivals:
