New girl group USPEER has officially entered the game, bringing bold energy and a sports-inspired concept to the K-pop scene.

On June 4, USPEER held their debut showcase at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, unveiling their first single album SPEED ZONE. Just like their title track "ZOOM" suggests, the team is sprinting full speed ahead with fresh charisma.
Leader Yeowon, a fourth-degree black belt in Taekwondo, impressed fans by performing a powerful kick on the spot. "We're here to deliver more than just music—we want to channel unstoppable energy," she said.
USPEER refers to themselves not just as a group, but as a team—with each member playing the role of an athlete and Yeowon proudly holding the title of team captain rather than leader.
💿 Debut album: Fast, fearless, and full of attitude
SPEED ZONE tells the story of USPEER's bold beginning, diving into themes of self-discovery, confidence, and high-speed growth. Member Daon explained, "The album reflects our mindset—we're ready to take off from the starting line."
The title track "ZOOM" is an electro-hip-hop banger, driven by aggressive synth bass and punchy beats. The song's addictive hook and commanding vocals deliver a sense of urgency and ambition. (And no—it's not about camera zoom.)
They also performed "Telepathy," a sweet UK garage/R&B fusion track about unbreakable bonds and destiny. The group showed a softer side, balancing intensity with warmth and strong chemistry.

USPEER marks WM Entertainment's first girl group in nearly 10 years, following OH MY GIRL. The pressure is real, but the members are embracing it.
"We want to follow in OH MY GIRL's footsteps," said Seoyu, while Soyi added, "Like our seniors, we hope to shine not only as a group but individually—in acting, solo music, and variety shows."
The group's athletic background also stands out:
- Yeowon: Taekwondo (4th dan)
- Soyi: Former tennis and volleyball athlete
- Daon: Played teeball during school

Their ambitions are clear. "We want to get our name out there, win first place on music shows, and even sweep rookie awards at year-end shows," Yeowon said with confidence.
USPEER's debut album SPEED ZONE dropped at 6 PM KST on June 4, and they'll kick off music show promotions starting with Mnet's M Countdown on June 5.
