CRAVITY is entering a bold new chapter as they celebrate their 5th debut anniversary—complete with a mysterious grape-themed teaser.
On June 4, Starship Entertainment dropped the concept film for CRAVITY's 2nd full-length album 'Dare to Crave' on the group's official SNS. A brand-new logo motion also made its debut.
🍇 "Things Made Too Easily" — and Grapes?
The teaser opens with the phrase "About things made too easily." A bunch of grapes drops to the ground. Shots of a junkyard and a scrapyard follow. Then, each member appears, silently stuffing grapes into their mouths.
Toward the end, the phrase "Crave Gravity" swells and merges together like grapes forming a cluster—hinting at deeper symbolism behind the title and concept.
🔁 Logo Motion = Rebirth?
The new animated logo shows grape-like spheres going through cell division, eventually taking human form and morphing into the letter "C." The word CRAVITY appears, as if made from grape stems—an abstract yet symbolic metamorphosis.
👑 Leadership Shift Marks New Beginning
For the first time in five years, CRAVITY is switching up leadership. While Serim had led the group since debut, the group will now be managed under co-leaders Wonjin and Hyeongjun.
Starship stated, "We're grateful to Serim for leading the team for so long. With this new structure, CRAVITY will bring fans even deeper music and meaning."
